Military analyst issues dire warning about Russian jets buzzing U.S destroyer  14th April 2016

Retired U.S. Navy Capt. Chuck Nash says Russian President Vladimir Putin is using the recent provocation in the Baltic Sea and other incidents to prove the United States will not stand up to aggression and won’t do anything to stop Russia’s efforts to gobble up its former republics.

Nash, who served 25 years in uniform as a U.S. Naval aviator, was responding to reports that Russian jets repeatedly buzzed the U.S.S. Donald Cook in the Baltic Sea more than 30 times and even simulated attack maneuvers.

He told WND and Radio America Putin’s calculation is clear.

“Putin is trying to take down NATO without firing a shot,” Nash said. “His message to NATO is clear. His message to the Baltic States of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania is very clear. And that is, ‘The United States will not react, even when their nose is rubbed in it. So what makes you think they’re going to come to your defense if shooting starts or if we really start posturing heavily?’”

He added, “That message has been transmitted. And that message, trust me, has been received.”

Nash said Putin views the U.S. as weak and has ever since Obama began his presidency by bowing to multiple heads of states in other countries. He said Obama further proved Putin right by not enforcing the red line in Syria and doing nothing in response to the Russian annexation of Crimea and invasion of Ukraine.

Putin is licking his chops over what the final nine months of Obama’s time in office may let him get away with.

“He has no idea who’s coming in in January, but he knows who he’s got right now, and he’s going to exploit that,” Nash said. “My concern is that something really significant is going to happen in the nine months. His strategic goal is to take down NATO and to rebuild imperial Russia.”

Chuck Nash says, ‘Putin is trying to take down NATO without firing a shot’

Nash expects Russia to call the West’s bluff on the most important component of the NATO alliance.

“To take down NATO, all he’s got to do is get somebody to try to invoke Article 5, which is the mutual defense provision of the NATO treaty,” Nash warned. “All of a sudden, he’s going to see who in NATO stands up to that Article 5 call. If countries balk, NATO is done.”

One day Putin will succeed in changing NATO, Bible Prophecy is very clear on the fact that the European Union will be in a close relationship with Russia at the time of the end with Russia becoming a “guard” unto the European Nations Ezekiel 38:7.  So it will be interesting to see what happens to NATO after BREXIT and the USA Presidential Election.  Will it stay as the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation or will it morph into a European Army Command Center.  Both France and Germany want the EU to have it’s own Army, Britain is against this and up until now has stopped any such development.  But with Britain gone and most of the EU countries in NATO, Britain and America might found they lose contral and or pull out as a result.  However this happens it will be Germany and France to watch to see how developments move following BREXIT. Why do we say this, well in Ezekiel 38:1-7 Germany is referred to by her ancient name of “Magog” being closely allied with Russia to the point that “Gog” ie. a chief one, is referred to in Bible Prophecy as being “Gog of the land of Magog” See Ezekiel 38:1-7.  Gog is also referred to in Bible Prophecy as the “King of the North” and undoubtly is the leader of Russia. The Bible also speaks of that the “King of the South” (Britain, America and the Commonwealth Countries) in the later days will “push” at the “King of the North” (Russia) and it is partly this antagonism that will force Russia and the EU to invade the Middle East.  Of course this will become more pronounced when Britain withdraws from the EU and Joins America and her Commonwealth Countries in standing up to Russian aggression. This will be a development to watch following BREXIT as we see the latter day alignment of Nations as Prophesied by the Bible falling into place before our very eyes.
