A Christadelphian Video: Description: The scribes and pharisees “contrived” a dinner to challenge Jesus and provoke him about non-observance of their “accepted” traditions/laws, and to discredit him in front of the people. Their hypocrisy is exposed and is a warning to us that we can also practise hypocrisy and two-facedness. Let the love of God permeate our heart, mind and soul, and guide our actions; don’t have an outward persona of godliness but an inward harbouring of ungodly thoughts and desires.
