There are some verses in the Bible that on the surface seem to cause much consternation – but we are told that God is not the author of confusion 1 Cor 14:33, so we need to look a little deeper into them, even by going back to the original Greek/ Hebrew to understand the true meaning. This is exactly what this new series aims to do, by doing just that and comparing scripture with scripture as in the example the Bereans. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so – Acts 17:11
