Description: The words associated with the process of reconciliation are linked as a ‘family of words’ and well explained within the context of the Bible teaching. To understand these words better helps to use them more appropriately. These words are at the centre of God’s truth and give us meaning to life.
NB: The new covenant was made with Abraham on the basis of his faith (Romans 4:13; Genesis 15). Galatians 3 makes this very clear, and shows in v19 that the law was added for a limited time, to enable Israel to mature (v23-25). The new covenant is referred to in Hebrews 10:16 quoting Jeremiah 31:33.
