Description: Forbidden fruit speaks to us of the story recorded in Genesis in the account of creation.
God gave man one law but the serpent contradicted God to Eve and she ate and gave it to Adam, so they became dying creatures. Sin is described in Romans as the cause of death. The serpent, making an observation, caused Eve to sin and so became the symbol of sin.
We also have the choice of eternal life, to follow God or to follow our own lusts.
