He has promised to share His divine nature with those who do get to know him. He wants us to love Him in a loving, personal relationship as our Father which is how He loves us. The only way to do that is through prayer and meditation on His Word. Knowing God gives us joy and peace now and eternal joy and peace when the Lord Jesus Christ returns.
