11:30 – Mike Jenner (14 plus): Genesis – Before Abraham (NO video for this event)

14:00 – Kitson Reid (9-14s): The man who came through the roof and the visitor who travelled by night

From the Lockdown Bible school 2020 this video series is aimed at our 9-14-year-old age group. It is the first in the series and the presenter has a manner that is well suited to engaging our youth. The stories are applicable to the experiences that most of us are going through during this lockdown but we hear little about how our youth are being affected – the Bible gives us hope!

A consideration of the men (one in particular) crucified with the lord Jesus. We will note:

– Who these two men represent, noting the significance of their dying alongside our lord

– The one thiefā€™s words of faith, and the Masterā€™s response

– The request ā€œremember meā€, and a few occasions where others used the same expression

– What Jesus meant when he said the man would be ā€œwith himā€, and when he spoke of ā€œparadiseā€

20:00 – Stephen Hole, Hall Green: Daniel 12 – the standing up of Michael

From the Lockdown Bible school 2020 this is the evening and study class and is a great study on the Standing up of Michael, the great prince from daniel 12. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
