Is the Trinity True? #1 ‘The One God of the Bible’
A Christadelphian Video: The Bible tells us that there is only one God. This is a very clear teaching throughout the whole of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. In between the Bible is very clear – the one God is described as the Father (Malachi 2:10; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6). The unity of God is clearly stated in Deuteronomy 6:4 and is endorsed by Jesus in Mark 12:29. This is in complete contrast to the doctrine of the Trinity, which outlines a God who is three persons. The Bible teaching is simple, it is direct and it is endorsed by Jesus and the Apostles.

Is the Trinity True? #2 ‘We know who we worship’

In John chapter 4 Jesus meets a Samaritan woman and has a discussion with her. Towards the end of this Jesus says: You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. (John 4:22) This tells us three things about God: 1. It is possible to know what God is like: the doctrine of the Trinity says that God is unknowable. 2. The Jews have the correct understanding of God: Jews are not trinitarians. 3. Jesus worships God. To understand the Gospel of Jesus and the Apostles we need to re-evaluate the teachings of the church against that of the Bible.

#3 Is the Trinity True? #3 ‘Is Jesus God…Jesus has a God’

A Christadelphian Video: The Bible is very clear about this. Jesus tells us that he has a God (John 20:17; Revelation 3:12). The Apostles refer to God as “The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 and many other passages). This tells us one thing: Jesus is not the supreme being. God does not have a God, but Jesus does

Is the Trinity True #4 Is Jesus God Jesus didn’t know everything

A Christadelphian Video: God is a being who knows everything. He knows the thoughts of men, and the future. However, Jesus did not know everything. Mark 13:32 is very clear on this, but there are other verses with the same message. This tells us something about Jesus. Jesus is not God!

Is the Trinity True? #5 Is Jesus God? Jesus died for your sins

A Christadelphian Video: It is a fundamental fact of Christianity that Jesus died and rose from the dead. God, however, does not die. He is the living God. If God dies, then his creation is in great trouble, and this includes us. We have a choice. Either Jesus is God, in which case he did not die, and there is no means for our sins to be forgiven, or Jesus is not God, in which case his death is the means of our salvation.

Is the Trinity True? #6 Is Jesus God? Jesus was sent by God

A Christadelphian Video: Jesus was sent by God to speak the Gospel and to be a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. This is a common theme in the Bible; that Jesus was sent by God is stated 35 times in the Gospel of John alone. For example, we have: “And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” (John 17:3). There are two points here. The first is that anyone who is sent by God is not God. The second point is that a greater person sends one who is less in status. As Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.” (John 13:16) Jesus was sent by God with a message, and to allow for the forgiveness of sins. But this also means that he is not God.
