A command to celebrate a festival called Easter is not contained in the Bible. This talk explains the origins of some of the symbols of Easter and how this pagan festival, based on idol worship of ages past, came to be adopted by a corrupted Christian church. True believers are to remember the death and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, pre-figured by the sacrifice of the Passover lamb, by the partaking of bread and wine together, as he himself instituted. The Bible alone contains all that we need to know about the one true God, His promised kingdom on earth and how He desires to be worshipped.
