Paul’s letter to the Romans heads the list of Epistles. The depth of the teaching about the Atonement is outlined through the exhibition of God’s righteousness, revealed in the full gospel. This involves a full inclusion of both Jew and Gentile in the common salvation. This excellent exposition shows the unfolding of the purpose of God, despite human depravity.

The love of God and the faith of His Son, who trusted the Father to raise him to life again, are the essence of the Atonement, as taught by the Apostle Paul in Romans 1 to 8. God’s love provides a free gift of forgiveness that makes us at peace with Him when we have the faith of Jesus. We need the renewal of our minds through God entering into our daily lives. To be people who are in Christ we must put sin to death, be faithful in the testing circumstances of life, and live and work together with humility and a Christ-like spirit.
