He called the expanse “heaven.” Day 3: God gathered the waters below into one place, creating the seas, and made the dry land appear, which He called “earth.” He also caused vegetation, including plants, trees, and grass, to grow on the land. Day 4: God created the sun, moon, and stars to govern the day and night and to mark seasons, days, and years.
