When it comes down to it we’ve all spent time stuck in the pit. At times in our lives we’re cast into darkness, stuck in the depths of depression and facing a future without hope. The world we’re in, there’s no comfort, there’s no peace, there’s no love, there’s no integrity.
And the world has become used to just going on and on and on – the monotonous cycle of life, stuck in the pit, trapped in the prison – fastened to this feeling of only ever being alone.
Have you ever felt alone, felt like you have no options and your stuck in the rut of life stuck in the pit.
Have you ever felt your life was in danger on the very edge of death, hated or despised, rejected, bullied and cast away. When your stuck in the depths of depression, anxious about every moment and struggling to even find your next breath.
Have you ever felt stuck with no direction, no hope, feeling totally alone and forgotten.
Have you ever felt like God just didn’t care.
Well you know young people, every feeling of depression and hatred, rejection and anxiety, bullying and abuse – Joseph’s been there, he’s been through it all, he was stuck in the pit, he was trapped in the prison, he was despised, depressed and rejected and yet…
He never stopped believing in God, his faith, love and integrity was always intact, always
What’s your turning point, when you come through trial, when you escape from the pit do you strengthen your faith, maintain your integrity and focus on believing or do you just want to turn back, needing this feeling of apparent safety in the monotony of life.
I want to something more than the world has to offer, I want to stand with Joseph. God never gave up on Joseph he had a plan and purpose for his life a plan with a future of blessings and hope and he’s extended the same purpose to us.
For in just a little while, and he that shall come will come, and I want to stand with him.
