The Presentation and booklet investigate the fulfilment of some remarkable Scriptural prophecies concerning the Nation of Israel quoting the thoughts of particular writers and putting forward expectations of a surprising future.

The history of the ancient nation of Israel and its survival into modern times is seen as a vindication of the Hebrew prophetic writings in the Bible. Some 3500 years ago the Book of Deuteronomy predicted the people of Israel would be scattered out of their own land into ALL countries of the world until, in the Last Days, they would be re-gathered. Millenia later, namely in 1948 the Jews having survived as an identifiable people, proclaimed the setting-up of the State of Israel in 1948.

Many well known writers had looked for and wrote about the return of the Jews to their own land during the period of the scattering of the Jews on the basis of Bible prophecy. For Sir Isaac Newton in the 1600’s the Jews,
“rapidly became one of the central themes of all Bible prophecy”.

“Newton had no doubt that Romans 11 spoke of the ultimate turning of the Jewish nation to God, not simply as individuals. He noted that they had been cut off for disobedience but asserted that God would restore them again”.

John Thomas a Medical Doctor and avid Bible student writing in 1848 concerning the expected return of the Jews to their own land links this with the return of Jesus Christ to the earth on the basis of Bible prophecy and writes,

“There is, then, a partial and primary restoration of Jews, before the manifestation, (of Jesus on the earth), which is to serve as the nucleus, or basis, of future operations in the restoration of the rest of the tribes after he (Jesus) has appeared in the Kingdom.”

(Elpis Israel 1949 14th Edition page 441)

The Presentation refers directly to many Bible verses. It clearly shows that with the return of the Jews to their own land there would develop a time of trouble centred in the land of Israel,

Zech 12:3 ” 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.”

From the astonishing fulfillment of prophecy demonstrated by the survey a prediction of the future of the land of Israel is postulated. This indicates there is yet to be a period of unmistakable peace in the Land of Israel against all the odds. This will be cut short by the battle of Armageddon. This itself, it is held, will be dramatically concluded by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven who will be enthroned as King in Jerusalem in line with scores of Bible prophecies.

The final appeal is to all those who hear to heed the warning from the lips of Jesus himself, originally to Nicodemas, but now to all,

John 3:3-5 ” Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Whilst there is still time, embrace in full belief the true gospel in the waters of Baptism by immersion, confessing your sins and join the Family of the redeemed, living now so as to please Jesus at the Judgement.
