In the series entitled, “Look Up, Lift Up Your Heads,” we are going to consider events around the return of Christ, God Willing. The classes are held Thursday nights via Zoom. Question and Answer sessions punctuate the class. We will consider scripture concerning the events surrounding Christ’s return, our gathering together to him, and the establishment of the kingdom. The series will be both expositional and exhortational to encourage one another as we prepare for our Lord’s return.

With the world shut down with COVID-19, we thought we would take the time to “Study in Place.” We plan on holding classes on Thursday nights, God willing, to consider events around the return of Christ. The series is “Look up, lift up your heads.” This first is entitled “We are not in Darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
This first session is broken into three parts, each punctuated by question-and-answer periods.
The first part examines a biblical look at the plague that is upon us.
In the second part, we discuss passages regarding the return of Christ and the resurrection. We discuss some misunderstandings by many evangelicals about the rapture and some of the believers being “left behind.” In the third part of the session, we look at the invitation for the resurrected, immortalized believers to join the Lord Jesus Christ in the rulership of the world during the kingdom age.
