Spirit Gifts…Are they really available today?
A @Christadelphians Video: Description: After the ascension of Jesus, when the New Testament had not yet been written, the holy spirit gifts were given so that the apostles could preach the gospel successfully throughout the Roman World. The gifts could only be passed on by the laying on of the apostles’ hands so there would be a time when they would cease. With the New Testament now available worldwide, the gifts are no longer needed. The New Testament teaches that the Christian virtue of love is superior.
