Description: New Testament teaching is based in the Old Testament; both convey the same gospel message of hope for man that was originally revealed in the garden of Eden and to the Great fathers of old, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The New Testament often quotes the Old as the conformation of its teaching, which is often explained by the Old. Both teach the same principles and precepts. The Old prophesied of Jesus, and the New claims that “All scripture is given by inspiration”, not just the New Testament, or agreeable selected portions. We need to be careful not to add nor take away from the Gospel life-saving principles and precepts of either Testament.
