Description: Israel as the vineyard of the Lord departed from God’s ways, being influenced by the pagan people around them and focusing upon their own desires. In their sins, they became like a leprous house. Isaiah who had received a vision of the glory of the Lord foresaw a time when a saviour would be provided. Remarkably the closing days of the Lord’s life depict the final examination of the leprous house, which ultimately would be destroyed in AD70.
