Cause and effect in regard to suffering is understandable but what about the innocent people? Sometimes we cannot understand why people that serve God have terrible things happen to them. The Bible shows that there are reasons for suffering. It helps us understand those who suffer, and can be a way to draw closer to God, depend on Him and be moulded for the kingdom.
