The Ant Lion is a particularly interesting example of metamorphosis, with a larval stage unlike any other. The small, ferocious little insects larvae which spend their time trapping and eating ants give no clue as to the delicate creature which will emerge in the final stage of the process. Truly, we can only make sense of this insect’s life cycle when we understand that it is designed by an Almighty Creator.
